Details: Family of 4 with two teenage daughters.

THE CHALLENGE:

Every member of this family had their own distinct style that needed to be represented in this small living area.  It needed to be functional, wheelchair-friendly, and incorporate the natural stone fireplace.

We began by adding functional built-ins around the fireplace to balance its scale and create a focal point.  A burst of whimsy was established through the fall colour palette and the Rifle Paper x York Wallcoverings paper lining the back of the arched cabinetry.

Every piece is designed to be hard-wearing, stain resistant, and friendly for their pets who love to snuggle up with them for family time.
